An environment agency licence is a licence that allows us to carry waste, rubbish, and furniture on the back of our waste disposal vehicle, this is given to companies that are registered and trade as legal waste disposal companies.
Two things are needed for your peace of mind that none of the rubbish or furniture is going to be dumped on someone’s property or down a country lane.
You need a company that shows their environment agency card on arrival or on completion of the job as well as give you a certificate that has their company details, environment agency number and the customers’ details displayed on the certificate.
This certificate then shows you as a customer or business customer that you have disposed of your waste correctly and legally with a registered company that is environmentally approved to do so.
Then the registered waste disposal company takes the waste, unwanted furniture etc to a waste transfer station which is a recycling centre which Recycles depending on the waste taken their around 90% plus.
Once this has been taken to the recycling centre the company would pay to take the rubbish, and furniture to the recycling centre and receive a certificate from the recycling centre which is that companies waste certificate which that company would keep.
This generates a full paper trail from customer to waste carrier to recycling centre.
The waste carrier charges the customer for taking and loading the vehicle and transporting the waste to the recycling centre. The recycling centre then charges the waste carrier based on weight and volume of the contents and type of waste on the vehicle.
